LWOli, soot, ei FINANCE Cyprus Exports hit the Gulf 5m. dollars worth of deals secured Deals for the export of Cyprus goods worth 5 million dollars were concluded on the spot by members of a strong Cyprus trade mission which toured the Gulf states earlier this month. The delegation visited Kuwait, Bahrain, Qa- ter and the United Arab Emirates, from Novem- ber 3-18. An announcement says deals concluded in- volve the export of Cyprus made clothing and shoes, machinery, building materials, cosmet- ics, Canned products, vegetables and juices. The tour was organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The mission of businessmen was led by the Chief Commercial Officer of the Ministry, Mr Alecos Koupparis. The announcement said the members -of the mission were given a warm reception al the countries they visited. The delegation con- firmed that there is a keen interest in Cyprus | Products and that the prospects for the further promotion of Cyprus exports to the Gulf are very good, the statement added.
