The moufflon, the donkey and a shot of Kyrenia Castle win photo prizes

151 prize, of £3, in the Cyprus Review's photagraphic competition is won this month by M. A. Michaelides, +4 Pericleous Street, Nicosia, for a fine study of that elusive creature, the moufflon. Llis picture was taken at Stavros. tis Psokas. Using an Ihagee camera, with Kodak Super XX film, Mr. Michaelides exposed for one-hundredth of a second at f. 11. His print was made by ‘Vilbian & Sons. of Nicosia. Second prize, of £2, goes to H. A. Col- lins. of the Turkish Lycée, Nicosia, whose picture of Kyrenia Castle is entitled «Foreboding Calm.» Mr. Collins’ camera is an Exacta and he used Ensign film, giving an exposure of one-fiftieth of a second at f. 11. His picture was processed by Lutfig of Nicosia, Vhird prize, of £1, is won by K. Yusuf, 17 Police Street, Nicosia, for an appealing snapshot of Paphos village children.
